For the very first time in American School of Warsaw history, our alumni community gathered in the Netherlands and what an unforgettable debut it was! Inspired by the steadily growing number of Warriors choosing Dutch universities for their higher education, the Alumni Office packed its bags and headed to Amsterdam to see firsthand how our local community is thriving.

Despite a chilly, rainy Dutch evening, the warmth inside the room was unmistakable. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome 48 attendees, making this our largest alumni event ever hosted outside of Warsaw.

The turnout truly spanned generations of Warriors. Representatives ranged from the Class of 2012 all the way through strong cohorts from 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2022, right up to our newest graduates from the Class of 2026. Old friends reconnected after years apart, sharing where life has taken them post-ASW, swapping career highlights and challenges, and discussing how their university expectations have matched up with reality.

It was a true joy to bring this event to life alongside my wonderful co-hosts. A huge thank you to Gina Cuthbert from the ASW Counseling Office and Tomek Dyjewski (Class of 2019) for making the night so seamless and vibrant!

Tomek provided invaluable on-the-ground support in pulling everything together, including leading a high-spirited game of "ASW Bingo." It proved to be the ultimate icebreaker, giving everyone a fun way to connect, ask great questions, and compete for the coveted "Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior" t-shirts!

Meanwhile, Gina gathered fantastic firsthand insights from our alumni about their university experiences. She brought this wealth of knowledge back home to ASW, where it will be an invaluable resource as we guide our current senior students through their university choices - even helping us connect seniors directly with alumni for authentic, real-world advice!
