The ASW theater sits at the intersection of student learning and public presentation; it is the space on our campus where hundreds of students, parents, and faculty regularly gather to listen, watch, and learn together. While much of our campus has been upgraded to meet 21st-century standards, our theater has remained largely unchanged for nearly 25 years.
To bridge this gap, we are launching a comprehensive revitalization project designed to future-proof our theater for the next generation. This transformation involves a vast scope of work: replacing the stage lighting and console, upgrading audio systems to ensure every voice is heard, and performing a total exchange of seating and flooring. Beyond these visible changes, we are overhauling the architectural details and backbone systems, while increasing our seating capacity to better serve our community.
To make these massive upgrades possible, the theater will close for construction on May 20. This phased revitalization will take place over several years starting with the house area in summer 2026.
We are also exploring sponsorship opportunities; a dedicated partner in this project would enable us to accelerate our vision. Please reach out to our Advancement Director if you would like to explore sponsorship opportunities and help us move from a space that feels like the past to a facility that reflects the excellence of ASW’s future.
